916 Main Street, Ste. 101 ,Christian was born in Denver, CO and grew up in Rapid City, SD graduating from Central High School in 1990. Following this, Christian attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO and was a student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Christian ultimately graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Regis University in Denver and went on the earn a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver graduating cum laude near the top of his class.
Christian spent twenty years in law enforcement serving as both a patrol officer and detective with the Windsor, CO Police Department and the Greeley, CO Police Department. During these years, Christian was elected by his peers as President of the Greeley Police Officers Association, Vice President of the Greeley Police Pension Board, and founding member of the Windsor Employee Relations board. Christian also formed the Greeley Police Department's Child Abduction Response Team, served as a field training officer, and was an active member of the Northern Colorado Criminal Interdiction Association.
Christian's interest in public service led to a successful election as a Town Board member in Windsor, CO. Christian served on a variety of advisory boards during this time including the Water and Sewer board, Clearview Library District board, Great West Trail board, and the Parks and Recreation board. Christian was also an appointed member of the Windsor Board of Adjustment.
After retiring from law enforcement in 2016, Christian was selected to be the Town Manager for Kersey, CO. Christian was responsible for a multi-million dollar budget overseeing Administration, Public Works, Police, Recreation, Planning, Engineering, IT, and Human Resources. Christian successfully authored and obtained approximately $4.5m in capital grants and was able to rejuvenate the Kersey Chamber of Commerce, constructed the Town Hall, constructed a community center, and built Kersey's first trail system. Christian retired from government service in 2024 as a credentialed manager through the International City Manager's Association.
These cumulative experiences have led Christian to now assist with land development projects in South Dakota, Colorado, and Wyoming and was recently a featured instructor at the Realtors Land Institute. Christian has a broad network of contacts and can assist you in the development of your project, conveying land or water, or government compliance.
